Mikkeller is a Copenhagen-based craft beer brand known for its experimental and unconventional approach to brewing. Mikkeller wanted to expand its product portfolio with a new chocolate brand under the name Bean Geeks. We helped bring the new universe to life through a distinctive brand and packaging concept designed to coexist naturally alongside the Mikkeller brand

Challenge

The ambition was to establish Bean Geeks as a bold and character-driven bean-to-bar chocolate brand, drawing inspiration from Mikkeller’s playful and unconventional approach to food and beverage culture. Design elements from the existing Mikkeller universe were reinterpreted into a vibrant and tactile packaging system that captured the craftsmanship and personality behind the products.

Solution

Through a long-term collaboration, we created a cohesive and playful brand universe that highlighted the sustainable mindset and bean-to-bar philosophy at the core of the brand. The result was a simple yet distinctive packaging and brand concept designed to scale seamlessly across future product launches and extensions.
